We still need YOUR help to stop speeding through our village
The Totternhoe Speedwatch group has now been in operation for nearly two years and many motorists have been reported to the police for advisory action. The results of our activity which have been reported to both the Parish Council and Central Bedfordshire Council will add further weight to the need for traffic calming measures throughout the village.
Totternhoe Lower School is looking to recruit a Clerk to the School Governors, the duties are taking and issuing Minutes of the Meetings, arranging Agenda’s with the Chairman, full job details are available from the Headmistress. Meetings are held in the evenings at the School.
There 3 meeting a year and the fee is £75 for each meeting, experience of minute taking and good clerical background are the main requirements of the position.

Good News !
Today, the Central Bedfordshire Executive Member for Community Services on Traffic Regulation Orders, Cllr Brian Spurr, approved the implementation of a 7.5 tonne HGV weight limit on roads in the Totternhoe and Eaton Bray areas. Both Parish Councillors - Peter Tasker, Vice Chairman Totternhoe PC, and Mark Tompkins, Eaton Bray PC, spoke in favour of the restriction.
The Parish Councils will now strive for the work towards the implementation of this order to be put into place as soon as possible.
